Audi Electric Vehicles
Audi first started introducing electric vehicle concepts in 2009, when Audi unveiled the e-tron concept. Since then, there have been some change in plans, but Audi is ready to move ahead with electric vehicles by first launching the A3 E-tron plug-in hybrid electric vehicle in spring of 2014.

The A3 e-tron started out as an all electric vehicle. However, in May 2013, Audi announced it would not be moving ahead with the all-electric A3 e-tron, but instead would be producing it as a plug-in hybrid electric vehicle. First market is Germany, and Europe, in spring of 2014, with North America to follow in 2015.
The Audi e-Tron is the first all-electric vehicle from Audi. It’s already on sale in some markets, with the USA release happening in Spring 2019.
