Toyota NS4 plug-in hybrid shows up at Buenos Aires International Motor Show

Back in 2011, Toyota challenged their engineers to come up with a “new mid-sized concept for potential global market introduction by 2015.” The result was the Toyota NS4 plug-in hybrid concept that was first unveiled at the January 2012 North American International Auto Show.

The vehicle had since disappeared. Fast forward to the 6th Annual Buenos Aires International Motor Show now taking place. Toyota brought the NS4 concept out to center stage, and also put out a new extended promotional video. All of the fan-fare could mean that Toyota is planning to introduce a model based on the concept in the near future. Alternatively, it could mean Toyota had nothing else interesting to fill their stage with and pulled out an old concept.
