Since 2009 Speed Ventures’ REFUEL event has made access to a race track free for electric vehicle owners. REFUEL opens up the world-famous Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca to electric cars and motorcycles and provides no-cost sessions on the track. Participants are also invited to participate in the SportElectric Time Trial.

REFUEL has been part of helping electric vehicle builders and manufacturers set records. Back in 2011, participants set the best four-wheel electric  lap ever as well as various electric motorcycle records.
