Mitsubishi i fleet vehicles go to Google

Mitsubishi announced it has shipped some Mitsubishi i Miev vehicles to Google’s Northern California headquarters to be part of the GFleet of electric vehicles. The Mitsubishi i electric vehicles will join some Honda Fit EVs, Nissan Leafs, Chevy Volts and even a Ford Focus Electric. It makes us wonder whether Google is actively pursuing car manufacturers for these vehicles, or if the car companies are sending them to Google just to be part of the GFleet program?!

Mitsubishi also sent some Mitsubishi i fleet vehicles to the Chicago based IGO car sharing program.

Last month, Mitsubishi reported 44 iMiev sales in February which is up from 36 Mitsubishi i Miev electric vehicles sold in January. The Mitsubishi i is rated by the EPA as the country’s most fuel efficient vehicle based on it’s 112 MPGe rating.
