Infiniti Emerg-E at Geneva Auto Show

Last week we showed you some teaser pictures of the Emerg-E. Now we have real photos! The Infiniti Emerg-E was revealed at the Geneva Motor Show.

We think the Infiniti Emerg-E looks great – although it’s officially only a concept, we can’t wait until more automotive manufacturers start moving towards plug-in hybrid and all electric sports cars.

Infiniti Emerg-E is a “highly advanced mid-ship sports car.”

Since it’s a concept vehicle, specs are limited, but the press release did provide some insight into the performance of the Infiniti Emerg-E. The Emerg-E is powered by twin electric motors, providing 402hp. The Infiniti Emerg-E range extended electric vehicle can accelerate from 0-60mph in just 4 seconds. The lithium ion battery pack allows the Emerg-E to drive over 30 miles on pure electric power. After that time, a 3 cylinder engine kicks in to keep the battery pack juiced up.
