Initially considered to be a compliance car, the Chevy Spark EV seems to be anything but. Chevrolet has gone to great lengths to make the Spark work as an EV.
By improving the aerodynamics significantly, Chevy was able to add 2 miles to the Spark EV’s range. Inside, the Chevy Spark EV is much like the gasoline powered Spark, but has 2 new TFT displays proiding data on the car and battery information.
Chevy is confident the Spark EV will offer one of the longest ranges in its class, and it will have optional SAE DC Fast Charger.
The Chevy Spark EV will be priced from $32,500 before incentives and will be on sale in California and Korea next year. Chevy also says it will be available in Oregon, Canada and other global markets later on.
