The Mitsubishi i-MiEV (called the Mitsubishi i in the US) first went on sale in late 2011 on the US and Canadian West Coast. The Mitsubishi i-MiEV will be available nation wide in the summer of 2012.

Mitsubishi announced it has shipped some Mitsubishi i Miev vehicles to Google’s Northern California headquarters to be part of the GFleet of electric vehicles. The Mitsubishi i electric vehicles will join some Honda Fit EVs, Nissan Leafs, Chevy Volts and even a Ford Focus Electric.
