Following Hyundai’s lead, Kia will be bringing the Kia Niro to market with 3 different drivetrains – a hybrid, a plug-in hybrid, and a 100% electric vehicle. Using the same drivetrain components as the Hyundai IONIQ, and priced competitively, the Niro EV should fare well in the North American market.
The all-electric version of the Kia Niro is now on sale in the U.S. It took longer than Kia initially said it would, but some deliveries have already taken place.
