BMW’s first debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show wasn’t its new i3 electric vehicle, or its i8 plug-in hybrid supercar. Instead, BMW chose to lead the show with its C Evolution electric scooter.

The BMW C Evolution is a maxi scooter that uses the same batteries as the BMW i3. BMW hasn’t released details, or pricing info yet, but they will tomorrow – that’s when the C Evolution will be unveiled on the first day of the show, and also when the C Evolution scooter goes on sale. That means the C Evolution scooter will by the first urban mobility electric vehicle offered from BMW, even ahead of the i3!

No word on what countries the scooter will be available in.
