At the upcoming Frankfurt Motor Show, BMW will be unveiling the production version of its upcoming i8 plug-in hybrid supercar. According to a news report from Automotive News Europe, BMW is expecting to sell the most vehicles in the United States, the United Kingdom, and Germany.

BMW i8’s production manager, Hendrik Wenders, spoke with Automobilwoche, and stated “The US will be by far the largest sales market for the i8.” He went on to say the i8 should arrive in showrooms in about 9 months. A simultaneous roll-out for the vehicle will occur in 50 different countries.
