The all electric BMW i3 is coming, with the official unveiling happening on July 29th. There have been spy shots of the prototype, pre-production models with very little disguise, but on the 29th we’ll see the completed vehicle without anything hidden. BMW has tentatively planned to start selling the i3 in Europe on November 16th before making it available in the US.

There is still no pricing information available for the BMW i3, but the expected price is somewhere around $45,000 US. The Rex range extender option will cost $4000 extra.
