Mitsubishi is once again trying to boost sales of its Mitsubishi i electric vehicle with big rebates. Last month Mitsubishi enacted a $10,000 rebate and has decided to bring the offer back until the end of July. If dealers are willing to play (by offering the Mitsubishi i for the MSRP), that means the price would be just under $20,000 before the $7,500 federal tax rebate.
Last year, Mitsubishi sold 588 of its electric vehicle in the US, and was able to move 594 i MiEVs in February alone this year due to large incentives and $69 per month lease offers back in January 2013.
