The all-electric version of the Kia Niro is now on sale in the U.S. It took longer than Kia initially said it would, but some deliveries have already taken place.
The base model of the e-Niro is the EX trim, with an MSRP of $39,495 with a destination charge. Compared to the Hyundai Kona, the e-Niro is $1500 more expensive.
In the past, Kia has limited the sale of its electric vehicles to specific parts of the country. The e-Niro is supposed to be available nationwide, but will likely be in limited quantities. There are also reports of dealerships on the West Coast asking for thousands of dollars over MSRP.
