Cadillac, General Motor’s luxury brand, has access to all of GM’s technology, including the Voltec system used in the Chevy Volt. Its expected that Cadillac will develop vehicles using the Voltec technology.

Cadillac ELR
The Cadillac ELR will be the first electric vehicle from the General Motors luxury brand. Unveiled on January 15th at the North American International Auto Show, the production ready Cadillac ELR sports 20 inch wheels, led lights all around, and a leather wrapped luxury interior. The ELR shares the Voltec drivetrain with the Chevy Volt. The ELR will be available in early 2014 in the U.S. with global markets like Europe and China to follow.
