It makes sense that Apple would get involved in the EV Market as Apple technology is widely used in new vehicles

It is possible. Or they could keep making products and features that most car brands would use in their cars.

I had no idea Apple is going to make EVs. This should be interesting.

Apple isnt really talking to much which is typical for them but they may be working on cylindrical, hollow lithium-ion batteries for its autonomous electric vehicle. A hollow battery – the center opening is about the size of two fingers – is considered advantageous and more effecient because lithium-ion batteries most often heat up from the middle of the battery and need a cooling device. by haveing air flow in the center instead of heat, there is no requirment for a cooling devices. This increases the battery capacity.

The battery project is called Project Titan, which is potentially an electric car program.

Last month, the computer-making giant moved longtime executive Bob Mansfield over to lead the vehicle vision. Mansfield had worked on Apple projects such as the iMac, iPad, and the MacBook Air. Apple also asked Dan Dodge to work with Mansfield on the vehicle program. Dodge previously led BlackBerry's automotive-software development.

Apple continues to look for more real estate for its vehicle-making proposal. San Francisco Bay Area developer Hudson Pacific Properties said in May that Apple had been looking around for about 800,000 square feet of Silicon Valley space for the car project. Its reported that Google was looking for something about half that size.

I'm confused regarding the Apple EV. I saw somewhere that they aren't making it. Don't know what to believe.
