From a physics standpoint, EV cars are much more energy efficient. If you start out with the same amount of energy, say 1 gallon of gasoline equivalent to 33.4KWh of electrical charge. I'm sure they won't be on the sidelines for long but maybe now we're concentrating more on getting the other business off into space versus just trying to rocket launch and electric vehicle down racing strip:)
