Ford Fusion Energi February Sales

There are none – but it isn’t all bad news. Dealerships have been advertising inventories for 6 or 7 weeks, but no inventory has arrived. Ford Spokesperson Taylor Blackburn says the Fusion Energi plug-in hybrid electric vehicles are just now starting to arrive at dealerships from their final assembly plant in Hermosillo, Mexico.

“…we won’t have any Fusion Energi sales to report in February, but we can expect first sales to hit in March. Fusion Energis are shipping to dealers now.”

Ford did say they are planning a big media launch in March in San Francisco, Los Angeles and DC to kick off the Fusion Energi sales.

Unlike the Ford C-max Energi, the Fusion Energi has been priced in-line with the other Fusion trim levels so it won’t steal sales from itself – that puts it at MSRP $39,495.

The Ford Fusion Energi has the same drivetrain as the C-max Energi, but in a larger sedan. It has ben rated by the EPA at 100MPGe combined and has an all-electric range of 21 miles per charge.
