General Motors has announced pricing for the Chevy Bolt EV, and it comes in under the initial pricing target of $37,500 from 2 years ago when GM unveiled the concept Bolt EV as the LA Auto Show.

We have kept our promise yet again, first on range and now on price. – Alan Batey, GM President for North America

The base LT trim will come in at $29,995 after the $7500 federal tax credit in the USA, and is well equipped straight from the factory with steering-wheel-paddle-controlled regenerative braking settings, a back-up camera, and a touch screen with infotainment.

For approximately $3500 more, the $33,405 after incentive Premier version of the Bolt electric vehicle gets heated leather seats and a surround view camera.

For faster charging times, a $750 CCS fast charging add-on is available on both trim levels.

Once again, GM is sticking to their same line – “the Bolt EV will be available at select dealerships in late 2016.” Yes, we know… but we want to know dates and places!!
