The EPA has released it’s fuel economy numbers for the BMW i8.

The electric range is 15 miles, although, technically, some say it’s 0 miles since it requires 0.1 miles of gasoline per 100 miles, even in electric mode.

MPGe is rated at 76 miles, and the MPG combined for gasoline power only is 28.

US sales started last month, and deliveries are set to start later this month, after the first US BMW i8 is auctioned off at the 2014 Pebbles Concours d’Elegance On August 17.
