BMW i3 and BMW i8 in huge display for Frankfurt Auto Show

BMW is spending big on it’s Frankfurt Auto Show display of the 2014 i3 and the debut of the 2015 i8 hybrid supercar. The company has reserved 8,750 square meters to put the i3 and i8 on display, as well as an indoor infinity shaped track to display the i3 in motion.

The BMW stand is characterised by the new track in the form of an infinity symbol symbolising the sustainable mobility concept of BMW. Visitors walk along the long straight stretch of the track, on a platform six metres above the ground, and experience the new world premiere up close – with particular focus on the new electric vehicles from BMW I.

The BMW i3 will be presented in “permanent action” on the 280 meter long track that splits the BMW stand into 3 levels. During pit stops, electro-mobility topics will be demonstrated live. The booth’s tribune can hold up to 400 people at a time to watch the i3 in motion.
